Hadley Firsts

When Caleb was little, writing a quick blurb on here about his latest milestone was a snap. Now though, it is getting so hard to keep up. Trying to record all the special things about my kids' lives for remembrances is a lot tougher now that there are three.

I'm still trying my best though. Today's post is going to be all about this girl:

To begin, right before her third birthday, Hadley went for her very first dentist visit. Her favorite part was getting a purple toothbrush at the end. :)

Little girl in such a big chair

She wasn't sure what was going on and acted a bit confused and timid (which is unusual for our usually very outgoing girl), but she did great.
Yay! No cavities, just beautiful pearly whites.

In May, she got another "first"- a sleepover with one of her friends! My former college roommate (Jenn) and her family, including her little girl who is just a little older than Hadley, slept over once at our house when Hadley was an infant, so technically that was the first friend who stayed at our house....and we've also had her cousins Luke and Lydia sleep over a couple of times when their family visits from the Midwest. However, this was the first time Hadley had one of her friends stay without their parents.

Lily is Hadley's friend from church. Her brother had to be in the hospital for a little while, so she got to spend a little time with us while her mommy and daddy went to stay with him.
She and Hadley really enjoyed pushing their babies and stuffed animal through the hall. Although the stroller was somewhat broken, both the girls and Reid kept trying their best to get their turn. Everyone had to learn a lesson in patience. :)
Little mothers
My mom had a little flip out chair that made the perfect bed for Lily. Hadley, who normally has a room to herself, was so excited to have someone to share it with that night.
Lily fell in love with the Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and wanted to sleep with them.
A pretty happy girl!
The following day was full of play....not just with baby dolls either.
We even got outside for a bit before going to pick Caleb up from school.

Well, I guess that's it for now...Sorry for the hodgepodge sounding post but I didn't want to forget these special firsts of my little princess. :)
