Caleb was too busy to do much snuggling though. He had eggs to color! First, they had to make up the colors. Then came the fun of plopping in the eggs and making a splash. Pop even bought a special plastic scoop to help Caleb put the eggs in and out; it was a lot sturdier than the thin wire thingamajigs we tried to balance them on as kids. When one of the eggs busted, Caleb learned that you can peel them and have a snack. As much fun as dying eggs (and his hands) was, I think he enjoyed eating the eggs just as much.
After Caleb finished with his artistic endeavor, he headed to the tub to get cleaned up. A little later, Hadley had her turn to make a splash. She took her first non-hospital bath. Just like she reacted to the nurse bathing her a few days prior, this girl was not happy about being scrubbed. This time the hair washing part didn't seem so bad though, and afterwards she got to snuggle up in big hooded towel which made things even better.
Once everyone was clean, we took our pooped little ones home and counted our first outing together as a success.
Everyone looks like they had alot of fun.
