A New Park

One sunny day a couple weeks ago, my dad told me about a park near our house that we'd never visited. He decided to bring us over some lunch and then take Caleb to play. My little boy had a WONDERFUL time. He barely stopped smiling from the time we arrived until we had to go home.

It was fun to see how much more he could do on his own than he could do at other playgrounds we visited last summer and fall. He of course was fearless as well which made Mommy somewhat nervous, especially when he decided to come right off the equipment where the monkey bars are rather than going over to the steps. There were no tears from that fall though, only a mild complaint that he'd gotten mulch on his hands.


The equipment was great for his age bracket and since it's so close, I expect to spend quite a few more days exploring this "new" park.
